- A critical ingredient in the protection of DoDEA schools is the response to an incident. DoDEA schools plan for and conduct annual training with students, teachers, staff, and administration for weather events, fire, accidents, intruders, and other threats to student safety.
- Our DoDEA school has adopted a standard response protocol, an all-hazards approach to DoDEA school emergencies. The standard response protocols have five (5) protocols: Hold, Secure, Lockdown, Evacuate, and Shelter.
