Countdown to Back-to-School

As the new school year approaches, Faith Middle School is making sure students and families have everything they need to start strong. With important preparatory events like Chromebook pick-up and the annual “Sneak-A-Peek,” the school is helping ease students back into the academic environment and build excitement for the year ahead.

Chromebook Pick-Up: Getting Students Ready for Learning

To ensure all students have access to the technology they need, Faith Middle School has scheduled Chromebook pick-up days by grade level in early August. Sixth-grade students will pick up their devices on Monday, August 3rd, seventh-grade students on Tuesday, August 4th, and eighth-grade students on Wednesday, August 5th. Pick-up hours run from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. each day in the school cafeteria. 

Families with multiple students will enjoy added convenience, as they are allowed to pick up devices for all middle school children during a single visit. To complete the process smoothly, students are encouraged to attend, so they can sign their technology agreement form, and families should bring identification. 

School administrators emphasize the importance of this event, as Chromebooks will be a key tool for classroom learning, homework assignments, and communication throughout the year.

Sneak-A-Peek Event Builds Excitement

After picking up devices, students and families are invited to attend the Back-to-School “Sneak-A-Peek” on Thursday, August 6th, from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Faith Middle School.

This exciting event offers students an opportunity to:

• Meet their teachers
• Receive class schedules
• Locate lockers
• Get familiar with the school building 

A special highlight of the event is a complimentary ice cream treat available at the school cafeteria.

Building Confidence for the First Day

These back-to-school events are designed not just for logistics, but for confidence-building. By allowing students to walk through their schedules, meet teachers, and practice navigating the campus, Faith Middle School aims to reduce first-day nerves and help students feel prepared.

Parents are encouraged to attend alongside their children to support the transition and ensure all necessary preparations—technology access, schedules, and familiarity with the school—are in place before classes begin.
